Ada Sari(1886-1968), Polish coloratura soprano, studied at a private Musical School of Countess Pizzamano in Vienna, then studied in Milan, made her debut in Rome's Teatro Nationale, then sang in Milan, Florence, Geneva, Madrid and Lisbon. Her repertoire was tremendous-composed of the most prominent world operas. She sang the greatest coloratura pieces. In 1934 she returned to Poland, during WWII she directed in Warsaw underground operatic studies. After WWII she was teaching until her retirement.
