Schmitt, Florent

Florent Schmitt(1870-1958), French composer, studied at the nancy and Paris conservatories, won the Prix de Rome in 1900 and studied in Rome, served as the director of the Lyon Conservatory, and the president of the Societe nationale musique. He composed ballet music, incidental music and film scores.
